Penstock in HDPE with reinforcements in acid-resistant steel and equipped with a non-rising stem. Compact design in self-supporting frame. Regulates treatment plants and pumping stations. Controls ponds and pools. Turns off outgoing stormwater from industry and roads in the event of an accident. Made of corrosion-resistant material, which means less maintenance. A tight construction between door and frame is achieved through a lip seal of EPDM that retains between 6-8 MwC of water pressure from both sides depending on opening size. Low operating torque. Can be equipped with electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control. Easy assembly. Wall mounted type standard. Can also be supplied with pipe and flange connections.

Due to this separation the penstock perfectly seals to the mounted wall and sliding plate and is even able to level structural variations. This patented seal is not affected by insufficient frame stability and frame distortion which are otherwise common causes of leakage on penstocks. The stainless steel construction provides maximum corrosion protection and all acid is cleaned and passivated in own pickling plant. Fixed spindle with self-cleaning spindle nut. Built-in storage shelf for manual operation, can be equipped with electric or pneumatic actuator. Leak-proof in accordance with EN 12266, table A.5, class C.

Maximum 1% of allowable leakage in accordance with DIN 19569-4 on-seating conditions. The corresponding number for off-seating is 5%. Leak-proof in accordance with EN 12266, table A.5, class C.
